Sleep Tight, Beautiful Kiki ❤️🐾
This is a slightly different post from the ones we usually share, because although Kiki wasn’t directly one of our Furry Friends animals, she was very much part of our Furry Friends family.
Kiki belonged to our lovely Cain, and anyone who knows Cain will know just how much his beautiful girl meant to him. She wasn’t simply a pet — she was his companion, his family and such an important part of his life. ❤️
Sadly, this week Cain had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to Kiki.
There are never really the right words when someone loses an animal they love so deeply. They become woven into our everyday lives — their little routines, their personalities, the sound of them around the house and all those tiny things we often don’t realise we’ll miss quite so much until they’re gone.
And when they leave us, the space they occupied can suddenly feel enormous.
We wanted to share Kiki with you all because she deserves to be remembered, and because we want Cain to know that his Furry Friends family is thinking of him and sending him so much love during an incredibly difficult time.
Kiki knew a lifetime of love with Cain, and ultimately that is one of the greatest gifts we can ever give our animals. The goodbye is so painful precisely because the love that came before it was so great.
