We recently had a lovely visit at the farm from my cousin Kate, her husband Phil, and my cousin Natalie — and, of course, no visit to Furry Friends would be complete without meeting the animals! 🥰
Phil is a huge animal lover, so it’s safe to say he was completely in his element. From fur and feathers to everything in between, he was more than happy to meet each and every member of the Furry Friends family and give them plenty of attention. ❤️
Kate, however, deserves some serious recognition for even coming along! 😂 She’s scared of almost anything involving fur, feathers or scales, so being surrounded by quite so many different animals probably wasn’t her idea of a relaxing afternoon. She did brilliantly though — perhaps we’ll convert her into an animal lover eventually! 🤞😂
While Phil loved them all, we think little Winglet the cockerel may have stolen the show. 🐓❤️
Winglet happily settled himself on Phil’s shoulder, seemingly quite content with his new position and all the fuss he was receiving. There’s something particularly lovely about watching someone who genuinely adores animals interact with them — and Winglet clearly knew he’d found himself a willing admirer!
Our animals are such a huge part of our lives, so being able to introduce them to family and share a little bit of farm life with them is always special.

Phil may have gone home without Winglet… but we’re not entirely convinced it was through choice! 😂🐓🐾
