Buttercup and Eddie are two of our much-loved Furry Friends, and between them they have enough personality to keep us entertained every single day!
There’s something incredibly special about our equines. They might be very different in size, appearance and personality, but both Buttercup and Eddie have that wonderful ability to make people smile simply by being themselves. Whether they’re enjoying some attention, investigating what everyone is doing or sticking their noses somewhere they probably shouldn’t, there’s rarely a dull moment when these two are around. 😂
They’re also a wonderful part of our animal-assisted therapy work. For some people, meeting a pony or donkey up close can be a completely new experience, while for others it can bring back lovely memories of horses and ponies they knew years ago.
And then, of course, there are those enormous ears, fluffy faces and very boopable noses… which are rather difficult to resist! 🥰
Behind the scenes, Buttercup and Eddie get to spend their days doing what they do best — enjoying farm life, plenty of enrichment, companionship and, naturally, making sure we never forget exactly when they think food should be served. 😂
We feel incredibly lucky to have them as part of the Furry Friends family.
