Some visits stay with you long after you’ve packed up and headed home, and our recent visit to Primrose House Care Home was certainly one of those. ❤️
We were delighted to join the residents during their weekly coffee morning, bringing along some of our Furry Friends for plenty of cuddles, strokes, conversation and companionship.
Afterwards, Primrose House shared the loveliest post about our visit, describing how their residents’ faces lit up as they spent time with the animals and how their presence created such calm, gentle and comforting moments throughout the home. 🥹✨
For us, feedback like this means so much.
Animal-assisted visits aren’t simply about bringing animals somewhere for people to meet. It’s about the moments that happen because they’re there — the smiles, conversations, memories, connections and sometimes simply the comfort of quietly sitting and stroking an animal.
For people living in care settings, those seemingly small interactions can become incredibly special moments.
And seeing the reaction of the residents at Primrose House was a beautiful reminder of exactly why we do what we do. ❤️
A huge thank you to Primrose House Care Home for welcoming us and our animals so warmly, and for sharing such lovely words afterwards. We absolutely loved spending time with everyone and creating these special memories together.
