We had another fantastic event with Mighty Oaks Wellbeing Club, surrounded by the most beautiful forest setting. There really is something magical about bringing children, animals and nature together. π³β¨
The children had a wonderful time meeting our Furry Friends, learning a little more about each of them and, of course, getting plenty of opportunities to stroke, pet and spend time with the animals. πΎ
It was particularly exciting for Eddie the donkey, as this was only his second ever outing with us! π«β€οΈ
For an animal still getting used to travelling away from the farm and experiencing new environments, Eddie did brilliantly. He took everything in his stride, enjoyed meeting everyone and proved once again what a lovely little character he is.
There was, however, one small problem…
Eddie decided he quite liked Mighty Oaks and had absolutely no intention of going home. π
When it was time to leave, he firmly planted all four hooves on the ground and refused to move. Apparently nobody had informed Eddie that the event had finished! π€¦βοΈπ
Apart from his little protest at home time, he was an absolute superstar and we couldn’t have been prouder of how well he handled only his second trip out.
Thank you to everyone at Mighty Oaks Wellbeing Club for another wonderful event and for always making both us and our animals feel so welcome. β€οΈ
We think Eddie has officially given the forest his seal of approval… perhaps a little too enthusiastically! π«π³π
