🐴 Meet Kingsley – our gorgeous new addition to Furry Friends! 💕
We were contacted by someone who thought Kingsley had exactly the right temperament for therapy work, so he’s come to us for a little trial. If he enjoys it and everything goes well, he’ll be staying with us permanently. 🥰
We know that ideally new horses should be quarantined. However, we know exactly where Kingsley has come from, his history and the small yard he’s been living on, with no mixing with horses from other yards. We had planned to keep him separate, but with everyone calling to each other and it being so hot in the stables, I made the decision to introduce him to our little herd.
Thankfully, it couldn’t have gone better – Eddie the donkey is absolutely smitten with him! 🫏❤️
Kingsley reminds me so much of Daisy, our other main therapy pony, with that same lovely, gentle way about him. I have to admit, I’m already completely in love!
Now we’ll take things slowly, introduce him to therapy life and, most importantly, make sure he enjoys it too.
